Centennial High School Graduation Ceremony 2021

We hosted two outdoor graduation ceremonies at Centennial High School to celebrate the class of 2021. The ceremonies included an introduction and welcome with Principal Mairi Scott-Aguirre; a Senior Class President Address from the Senior Class President, Heata Fononga; a Senior Address from Associated Student Body President, Maleek Cruse; an Address to the Class of 2021 from Teacher of the Year, Jeremy Williamson; and recorded performances from the CHS Choirs and Band.

During her speech, Heata Fononga addressed her fellow students: “Take a look at the people around you and take a moment to congratulate each other for the hard work...This moment is yours. You deserve this celebration and I hope each one of you pursues everything that fulfills your heart and brings meaning to your life.”

Principal Mairi Scott-Aguiree added later in the ceremony, “These experiences over the last four years have shaped you and I predict they have shaped you to become the next greatest generation to effect change.”

Check out some photos of the memorable evening and send a note of congratulations to our Senior students as they take their next steps in life. We are so proud of each and every one of you for your hard work and commitment.
