ABOUT
Paul Southerton is the Director of Business and Operations Department of Centennial School District and is responsible for the following major areas: fiscal management, district budgeting, accounting, investments and risk management, facilities operation and new construction, ongoing maintenance and operations of the District’s fourteen facilities as well as planning and construction of new facilities, pupil transportation, operation of the school bus fleet to transport students to and from home and school, to athletic events and on field trips related to the school curriculum, and Dining Services, operated for the purpose of providing breakfast and lunch to school students and staff. This department also provides meals to a number of Head Start programs, alternative educational programs and a Charter School.

      SOLICITATION No: RFP 2025-5

      Centennial School District is accepting written proposals form qualified firms to provide long-range facilities planning in compliance with the OAR 581-027-0040 for the purpose to plan for future capital improvements. The Long-Range Facility Plan is intended to provide clear outline and forecasted schedule for operation, maintenance and capital improvements of Centennial School facilities over time and create a framework for future bond-planning efforts, reflects community values, and target alignment with community capital support. 
                  Proposals are due by Friday, June 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM; By email to 
      paul_southerton@csd28j.org OR US MAIL at the District Office located at 18135 SE Brooklyn St. Portland, OR 97236 – Solicitation #RFP 2025-5 
                  Request for Proposal documents will be available for viewing and/or download beginning on Friday, May 16, 2025 at OregonBuys https:oregonbuys.gov/bso. Prospective bidders will be required to sign in as an account member to have access to the project documents. Prospective bidders can call OregonBuys at 855-800-5046 with any questions about setting up an account for viewing and/or downloading documents. No pre-bid conference is scheduled. All relevant information is contained in the request for proposal document.  
                 The District reserves the right to reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public procurement procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the District it is in the public interest to do so.
