Announcement: High School Summer Learning Application Deadline Extended to May 15!

Attention all students and families in the Centennial School District,

The deadline for applications to our High School Summer Learning Program has been extended to Wednesday, May 15th at 4:00 pm.

Thanks to the generous grant approval from the Oregon Department of Education, we are excited to once again offer enriching summer learning opportunities to students throughout our district.

This is a free program to support students transitioning from 8th grade into 9th grade at Centennial High School. The program, school supplies, meals and field trips are all free for every accepted student. Participating students who attend every day can earn 0.5 credits towards high school graduation! All students will learn high school math and writing skills, learn about how to be successful in high school and explore options for careers and college after high school!

Please note that applications for elementary and middle school students are no longer being accepted.

The program will run from July 8 – July 26, 2024, Monday through Friday, catering to students across all grade levels. High school students who qualify will have the chance to engage in credit recovery activities.
