Immigration Resources for Families
The Centennial School District is a strong advocate for the dignity and respect of all individuals, and strives to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that is responsive to all students, staff, community, and family members, regardless of race, ethnicity, place of origin, immigration status, primary language, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability. We are committed to providing school environments that are safe and welcoming to all students and families, so that our learners can thrive and engage fully in learning.
Our District does not collect or track any information regarding a students’ or their family members’ immigration or citizenship status, and does not require immigration or citizenship information for students to enroll in school.

- ACLU of Oregon Immigrants’ Rights: Please call the ACLU of Oregon at (971) 412-2258 or email at info@aclu-or.org.
- ACLU: Know Your Rights – Immigrants’ Rights (Also available in Spanish)
- Catholic Charities – Provides services for housing transition, financial wellness, immigration and legal services.
- Catholic Legal Immigration Network – Promotes the dignity and protects the rights of immigrants. Provides updated information about the U.S. immigration program.
- DACA - Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
- Immigrant Legal Services' Little Red Card – All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. The ILRC’s Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations.
- Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) – This organization is based in Portland and supports immigrants, refugees, and community members.
- Know Your Rights Webinar - Video Recording
- Latino Network – Provides community resources, including a referral list for immigration attorneys and the Protect Your Family/Proteja Su Familia guide.
- Additional Know Your Rights recordings are available on the Latino Network website in English and Spanish.
- Lutheran Community Services Northwest: Refugee and Immigrant Services – This organization helps refugees and immigrants access resources and learn new skills to transition successfully to their communities.
